Indoor Office Planters
OASIS
OASIS is a series of indoor office planters that consists of movable magnetic pots that can be displayed on
the table, hung on a desktop stand, and attached to the wall.
Named OASIS, the planters are designed to encourage office workers to make their spaces more verdant.
The office employees bring in "the therapeutic properties of plants" to their desks as a healing activity
essentially by taking a break from a dull office environment, to take care of the plants.
OASIS was also featured in Design Milk
Inspired by office’s magnetic boards, OASIS uses magnets to hang the pots, allowing the planters to be moved around easily for watering. This enables different placement combinations.
OASIS allows you to choose plants, such as air-plants and succulents that require less maintenance,
as well as indoor creepers plants such as the ‘Golden Photos’ or ‘Philodendron’
which can benefit your health and create a positive working environment.
Statement of Intent of this project was to design a personal ‘break space’ by enlivening desktop corners with greenery that promotes healthy environment. Supporting office worker’s well beings through the therapeutic properties of plants, bringing a moment of serenity in a tech-heavy environment in relation
of growing awareness that people’s mental health and well-being

How to water OASIS
Recommended plant :
Airplant ( Tillandsia ) ​

1. Attach your airplant on the wire lines carefully.
2. Do not place the plants in a direct sun. Indirect light is best and some will even grow in low to moderate light.
3. Remove the plant holder from the stand, use water spray to mist the roots of the plants lightly, minimum once every 2-3 days. Spray facing away from your computer desktop.
4. When you are away, in a typical indoor setting, an air plant watered by submerging in the water for a day should not need watering for up to 10 to 14 days.
